Art College Scotland
This in-depth course will allow you to build on your existing knowledge and understanding of fine art and design disciplines. You will get the opportunity to refine your practical skills in 2 and 3 dimensional work, whilst enhancing your understanding of the historical, contextual and sociological issues relevant to art and design practice.
What you will experience
This course will build on your current skills, focusing on the creative process as a whole as well as life, observational and developmental drawing, and sculpture and printmaking. The course is made up of project work and over
the duration you will build up a high quality personal portfolio.
Entry requirements
Typically, applicants will be expected to have a minimum of two passes at Higher level – one of which should be Higher Art. A pass in English at a inimum of National 5, Intermediate 2 or Standard Grade Credit level is also required.
Alternatively, applicants may have successfully completed an appropriate non-advanced college course demonstrating an aptitude for the subject. For those returning to education, life skills and experience in the workplace may allow entry.

If you take up a place on a College course, at the start of the course you will be asked to sign an enrolment form.
