We have over 19 years of experience and over 8000 sq ft of architectural salvage. Holyrood is probably Scotland's largest indoor Architectural Salvage Yard, and home to the largest collection of restored antique fireplaces.
Holyrood Salvage is Edinburgh's only remaining reclamation yard and have items to suit everyone from property developers to first time buyers.
We specialize in the restoration and retail of original fireplaces, doors, pews, wooden & brass handles, cast column radiators and many other reclaimed items. Some items are becoming increasingly difficult to source, so we also offer a large range of authentic good quality reproduction items.
Our massive stock of architectural salvage sourced mainly from Edinburgh homes changes on a day to day basis and although visiting our website will keep you reasonably up to date, it does not compare in any way to a personal visit to our Edinburgh architectural salvage yard.

Good place to find a huge variety of stuff
An excellent place: we found a matched pair of glazed brass lanterns that were ideal for our Victorian porch and hallway at a very fair price, reduced because one pane of glass was missing. We got a local glazier to cut a pane to match existing (which cost all of £1) and we have been delighted with them ever since. On another visit I just needed bits of door furniture and Eddy took immense trouble to get it right, even though the value of the sale was tiny. Highly recommended. If they haven't got what you want, leave details and they will seek it out!
Fantastic Variety & Quality
I just want to say that after visiting this business, that I am very impressed with the variety of stock held and the standard of pieces it currently lists. I find the Architectural items which Holyrood sell, both well priced and of a very high standard.I highly recommend Holyrood Salvage, as their owner Ken and staff have been extremely helpful towards me over the years.
Really wish I had visited here first, they had exactly what I was looking for.and much more! I found the staff very helpful.this place is definitely worth a visit.
Superb Staff Great Showroom Brilliant Stuff

Superb Staff Great Stuff
This place is amazing I love it if anyone out there is looking for old cast iron radiators, top of the range fireplaces, old doors ironmongery, and piles and piles of unusual stuff all items are quality and what a day out time flies when you are enjoying yourself yes yes it does, love Holyrood Architectural Salvage will be back and the Staff are superb the guys know their stuff, polite and helpful .
Great service and with lots on offer
Having looked on their website, I decided to pay them a visit. I was not disappointed as the building is huge with lots of great finds. I was on the hunt for a radiator and was spoilt for choice. The young guy Eddy was able to work out the size I would need for the room. The full service took 10 days which meant it was ready for my plumbers to connect. All in all, friendly efficient service and many exciting things to see, I will definitely be back.

I had my sizes and the manager helped me find the perfect one which is just as well as I didn't have a clue. Also managed to find a fabulous pair of wooden knobs which were original and the perfect match for the others in my flat.
