Extraordinary interior: unusual wooden floor

Wood is the most expensive and environmentally friendly material. Therefore, there are no diseases and viruses in wooden houses, the house breathes through the tree and it is especially pleasant to be in it.

A wooden floor is not a dull monotony of herringbone parquet or straight parallel lines from boards painted in the same tone. A person with imagination, using ingenuity, can decorate the flooring himself to everyone's envy. The main thing is not to be lazy and to choose your own option from those offered by us.

Wooden floor made from curved planks. This option is suitable for those who want a really noticeable wood floor. The grooved board is cut from a solid tree trunk. The cutting line follows the natural curves of the barrel. It reduces wood consumption when cutting and allows you to create a unique wood flooring that does not repeat twice. A curved oak board looks especially impressive in the interior. In addition, the boards are cut from walnut wood or exotic woods. The advantage of such a wooden floor covering is its increased decorative effect. The floor, assembled from curved planks is a stylish and, already finished, decoration of the interior.

Decoupage flooring is a great option too. The same principle is applied as with the usual decoupage technique, i.e. "Inset", or rather the imposition of a pattern (applique) on a surface (in this case, a wooden one), followed by varnishing. The drawing is not applied to each board, but to individual parts of the coating. This technique for decorating a wooden floor is available to absolutely anyone who does not have drawing skills. By showing imagination, you can create real works of art for interiors decorated in Provence or in ethnic styles.
